It's amazing how many wedding receptions have been booked for 2012 at Allure Gardens. What's more interesting is that there are no bookings in May as of yet. Are couple's thinking that May might be considered a busy month and not choosing a May spring wedding?

Allure Gardens now introduces an awesome chef! His name is Frank and he gets the food ready for every event out on time. It takes a special chef to be able to control food for large groups at one time and Frank certainly fits the bill. Thanks Frank!

How to have the most affordable wedding reception!

Sure, most brides would like to get married in the spring of May on a Saturday. But what if money is the main factor? Here is a list of things to trim your wedding costs:
1. Trim your guest list! You haven't interacted with a friend in over a year now? Just sending them an announcement will suffice. People understand and remember too that the guest is expected to spend at least $50 on a gift so that takes the burden off of them. Just keep your list to immediate family and friends. Everyone will understand.
2. Pick a day other than a Saturday. If you want to negotiate big discounts, choosing an evening during the week will get you more bang for your buck. If you must have a Saturday, pick an off season such as August or January!
3. Opt for a simplier buffet dinner. Roast beef is much cheaper than prime rib. Chicken fetuccini is less expensive than Parmesan Chicken. Get the point here? Negotiate a less expensive menu with your venue.
4. Choose a simple 2-tier cake and one sheet cake.
